Swimmer of the Month At Wallen Swim School

Congratulations to Luke from Folsom, California, our Steve Wallen Swim School swimmer of the month for February! Luke recently turned 8 years old, and has shown tremendous progress over the past 5 months of swimming lessons. When Luke first started his swim lessons at Steve Wallen Swim School he was very timid in the water, and didn’t even like getting his face wet. Luke has been very brave throughout his swimming lessons, and has pushed himself to progress each and every class. As he progresses, he gains more and more confidence in the water, and continues to push himself to do more and more challenging skills. Now, after 5 months of swim lessons, he is swimming all by himself as well as jumping in and swimming back to the wall.

After accomplishing water safety skills, he has continued to take swimming lessons in order to learn more advanced swimming skills, and be able to swim longer distances. Luke’s swim lessons at Steve Wallen Swim School have helped lead to his swimming success, and have also been a great confidence booster for him both in and out of the water. The most important aspect of Luke’s swim lessons is that he enjoys coming to his class each week and looks forward to learning new skills. Way to go, Luke! Another champion swimmer at SWSS!
