Swimmer of the Month for July 2016
Congratulations to Pranveer from Folsom, California, our Steve Wallen Swim School swimmer of the month for July! Pranveer started taking classes with SWSS when he was two years old. He began with learning to be comfortable in the water by swimming in the prone position, putting his face in the water, and blowing bubbles. As his confidence in swimming in the water has grown, he has developed his skills further.
Pranveer is now using his big arms to swim freestyle at each swim lesson. He is also working on rolling over on his back to take a breath, a skill that is vital to water safety. Pranveer loves to count how many seconds he floats on his back, and each week he tries to float longer. Pranveer loves swimming and is excited to start each lesson.
He is eager to show how he can jump into the pool, turn around, and swim back to the wall for safety. Pranveer’s happy attitude and smile are contagious and he loves to share about his weekly swimming adventures. After taking swim lessons at SWSS Pranveer has developed a love for water at an early age, and has a great start on the life long skill of swimming. Way to go, Pranveer! Congratulations for becoming the SWSS swimmer of the month.
