Summer Swimming Programs & Swimming Lessons
Private, semi-private swim lessons, and group swim lessons for students in El Dorado Hills, Folsom, Cameron Park, Granite Bay, Roseville, Elk Grove, and the greater Sacramento, California area
Steve Wallen Swim School is offering summer swim programs for all ages and skill levels. We offer private swim lessons, semi-private swim lessons, and group swim lessons for students in El Dorado Hills, Folsom, Cameron Park, Granite Bay, Roseville, Elk Grove, and the greater Sacramento, California area. Whether you are a student looking to enter the water for the first time, or a more advanced competitive swimmer looking to improve stroke technique and efficiency, we have the knowledge and the experience to design a program to meet your needs.
We offer three summer sessions that are each four weeks in length
Session 6 is our first summer swim session and runs from May 30th – June 26th, Session 7 runs from June 27th – July 24th, and our last summer session runs from July 25th – August 21st. Scheduled classes are offered 1 or 2 day(s)/week Monday – Thursday from 9:00am – 7:30pm and Sunday from 9:00am – 1:00pm. For students that can’t commit to a full session of classes, we also offer drop-in classes where you can schedule each class individually and pay for them as you go, as well as blitz classes where students can schedule 4 consistent classes in one week. Our drop-in and blitz classes are the perfect option for students with busy schedules to stay in the water and retain their swimming skills.
State-of-the-art indoor, heated swimming pool
Our state-of-the-art indoor, heated swimming pool is open year-round to our students in order to allow students to make swimming a fun, year-round activity. We firmly believe swimming is not only a fun sport; it is a life skill that everyone should learn. We offer classes 1 day/week which allow students to participate consistently and continue to progress throughout the year. Since our school is heated and indoor, students can continue to swim during the fall and winter in order to retain their swimming skills for the following summer. We highly recommend swim lessons throughout the winter in order to avoid taking a 5-6 month break and regressing on swimming skills. These swimming skills typically come back a lot faster than initially learned, but a student will retain so much more skill if they can participate in a session or two of classes during the winter.
