Infant and Caregiver Swim Lessons – Wallen Swim School in Roseville and El Dorado Hills
Baby and Me
Infants are naturally curious about the world around them, and the water is undoubtedly an intriguing place to explore. Constant, vigilant supervision of children around any water is critical. Always use the practice of being within an arm’s reach; you should ALWAYS be able to easily reach out and hold your child if they are near or in the water. Infants are too young to understand the inherent danger of water, and they lack the physical and mental ability to recover from a water entry. While your infants’ supervision around water is an absolute must, it does not mean that you cannot introduce them to the many joys of the water.
At Steve Wallen Swim School, your infant’s safety and learning are one of our top priorities! We are here to partner with you in setting your baby on the right course for aquatic success.
Introducing Your Baby To Swimming
During infant swimming lessons, your baby will be introduced to the pool in a fun, comfortable, and enjoyable way by their highly trained instructors. You will learn how to hold your baby and move them through the water safely. If you are not at ease in the water, your instructor will be close at hand, allowing you to share in the aquatic experience in the safest manner possible. By using the appealing natural aspects of the water, such as its ripples and sparkles, as well as our proven teaching methods, you and your baby will learn necessary water safety skills and how to move through the water in new and exciting ways.
The Baby and Me lessons at Steve Wallen Swim School are the perfect introduction to the wonders of the water. Our pools in El Dorado Hills and Roseville are always set to a comfortable 90 degrees, and our pools are indoor, clean, safe, and family-friendly. We are proud and active members of the United States Swim School Association, Stop Drowning Now, and the National Drowning Prevention Alliance. Our instructors are highly trained, have excellent skills, and are supervised by the Wallen family. You and your baby will learn about water awareness and safety, as well as experience how much fun it is to splash, kick, and blow bubbles. Baby and Me lessons begin with infants of three months, but your baby can start whenever you feel that you and they are ready! These lessons are a great way to introduce sound water safety habits for the whole family and introduce the concept and routine of swimming lessons. After all, swimming lessons should be a year-round activity for all children! If you want to register or would like to find out more about our learn to swim programs, please contact us!
